100 children killed in suicide bombing at Kabul school

The incidents of bombings in Afghanistan have not been decreasing since the Taliban rule. At least 100 children were killed in a suicide bombing at a school in the capital, Kabul, according to a new report. Local journalists say that human sensibilities were shaken during the reporting. It was also becoming difficult to identify dead bodies around the school.

According to the BBC report, the blast took place at Kaaz School in Dasht-e-Barchi area west of the city. A local journalist, Bilal Sarwari, tweeted on the attack, “We have counted 100 bodies of our students so far. The number of students killed is very high. The class was full. Those students had gathered to prepare for admission in the university.”

According to a local journalist, most of the students, mostly Hazaras and Shias, were killed in the incident. The Hazara are the third largest ethnic group in Afghanistan.

The author recalls the horrors that a teacher at the Kaj Higher Education Center picked up on the children’s limbs. Somewhere there were hands, somewhere there were feet. A pre-explosion video was also shared on Twitter where terrorists detonated the bomb.
