Nissan Magnite 2023: The Nissan Magnite is a B2-segment SUV that seats up to 5 people and is priced between Rs. 6.00 lakh and Rs. 10.86 lakh (ex-showroom). The Magnite has a boot capacity of 336 litres. Nissan has also released the Magnite Geza edition. Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, and Citroen C3 are Nissan Magnite’s competitors. The subcompact SUV will also face competition from the Maruti Fronx and the Hyundai Exter.

Engine and powertrain
It is available with two petrol engines: a 1-litre normally aspirated engine (72PS/96Nm) or a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine (100PS/up to 160Nm). The turbo engine comes standard with a five-speed manual gearbox, although it may also be ordered with a CVT (with torque output lowered to 152Nm). Whereas Kia has put three engines on offer: a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine (120PS/172Nm), a 1.2-litre petrol engine (83PS/115Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel unit (115PS/250Nm).
Safety and other features
It has a seven-inch digital instrument cluster and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also has LED headlights and DRLs, as well as auto air conditioning with rear vents. The Tech Pack, available on the XV and XV Premium trims, includes a wireless phone charger, air purifier, JBL speakers, ambient lighting, and puddle lamps. Passengers are protected by dual front airbags, a 360-degree camera, hill-start aid, electronic stability control (ESC), and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
