Son of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2 are both struggling at the box office. Despite having well-known stars and strong backing, both films have failed to attract enough viewers. Their Day 6 collections dropped even further, showing signs that their theatre run may end soon.
Son of Sardaar 2 Box Office Collection Day 6
Ajay Devgn’s film Son of Sardaar 2, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, has not picked up after its opening weekend. On Wednesday (Day 6), it earned just Rs 1.65 crore. This brings the total collection in India to Rs 31.50 crore. The film made Rs 29.85 crore in its first five days, but Day 6 continued the downward trend.
The audience turnout was low across theatres. Morning shows saw just 5.43% occupancy, while evening shows improved slightly to 9.59%. There was no clear data for night shows, which may point to poor attendance or fewer screenings.
In terms of regions, Jaipur performed best with 13.67% overall occupancy. Lucknow and Chennai also did better than average, recording 12.33% and 12.5% respectively. Mumbai and Delhi NCR stayed between 9% and 9.67%. Meanwhile, Hyderabad, Bhopal, and Surat had very low turnouts, all below 5%.
With a budget reportedly around Rs 150 crore, the film is far from breaking even. At this pace, Son of Sardaar 2 may leave cinemas well before new big releases like War 2 arrive.

Dhadak 2 Box Office Collection Day 6
Dhadak 2, directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Karan Johar, is also losing ground. On Day 6, the film made only Rs 1 crore – its lowest daily total so far. The overall collection now stands at Rs 15.40 crore in India.
The romantic drama had a decent start with Rs 4.15 crore on Sunday. But weekday numbers have been falling. This is despite good reviews and appreciation for the performances of Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri.
Adding to the surprise, a holdover release like Saiyaara earned more than both Son of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2 on the same day. Saiyaara collected around Rs 2 crore (Day 20)while the other two failed to reach that mark.

About Son Of Sardaar 2 And Dhadak 2
Son of Sardaar 2 tells the story of Jassi, who travels to Scotland to fix his marriage but ends up in the middle of a mafia mess and a chaotic Sikh wedding. The film features Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, and others. Despite the cast and comedy angle, the film has failed to pull crowds.
Dhadak 2 is a romantic drama based on social issues. It focuses on two law students who face caste and class barriers. While the story and direction have been praised, it hasn’t turned into box office success.
With both films earning less than Rs 2 crore on Day 6, their future in theatres looks uncertain. They have already become a box office DISASTER.
