In a significant move aimed at accelerating employment and industrial development in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced a monthly incentive of ₹5,000 for industrial workers and ₹6,000 in financial assistance for Ladli Behna (women beneficiaries).
The announcement was made during a media interaction following a programme held in Acharpura, Bhopal, where the Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to supporting both laborers and women in the state.
Permanent Aid to Women from Diwali
Dr. Yadav also stated that beginning after Diwali, women will receive permanent assistance of ₹1,500 per month, which will gradually be increased to ₹3,000 by the year 2028. “These factories are temples of hard work that bring joy and prosperity to people’s lives,” he said.
Police Post in Acharpura Shopping Complex in a Week
The Chief Minister announced that a new police outpost will be opened within a week in the Acharpura shopping complex, with the deployment of women police personnel. He praised the local industry, mentioning that jackets made in Acharpura are now being demanded by people in the United States. “When capital and labor come together, their impact resonates across the world,” he added.
Industrial and Agricultural Growth
Highlighting the state’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi\’s leadership, CM Yadav noted that India moved from 10th to 4th place globally since 2014. He emphasized the transformation in irrigation facilities—from just 7 lakh hectares in 2002-03 to 55 lakh hectares today, with a target of reaching 100 lakh hectares.
Dr. Yadav also underlined the state’s emergence as a center for agriculture and exports, stating that Madhya Pradesh is now exporting wheat. He reaffirmed his vision to make the state the “Dairy Capital” and a hub of employment and prosperity.
Global Outreach for Investment
To attract global investment, the CM shared that he has been engaging with potential investors in England, Japan, Germany, and Dubai, aiming to place Madhya Pradesh on the global industrial map.
Calling the current wave of development and investment an “Industrial Monsoon”, he said this phase is bringing green shoots of employment, development, and trust into the lives of Madhya Pradesh residents.
“We are not here for politics. What we promise, we deliver. That’s the hallmark of PM Modi’s team,” the Chief Minister concluded.
