Sambhal News: Only 15% Hindus Left, Judicial Inquiry Highlights Large-Scale Migration, 450-Page Report Submitted to CM Yogi Adityanath

Sambhal Report informs about an incredible demographic shift, only 15 % of Hindus now remain in Sambhal, which is a big decrease from the time of independence, when the percentage was 45 %. A detailed judicial report to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath points to community violence, extremist networks, and crime as the main reasons behind the call for policy action.

Sambhal News: The judicial commission has submitted a 450-page report on the violence in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The report not only details the incidents of violence that took place on November 24, 2024, but also documents the history of communal clashes that have occurred in Sambhal over the years.

“Footage Check”: A Closer Look at the Inquiry Delivery

The snapshot here shows the moment the commission delivered the results of its investigation to CM Yogi Adityanath. In the picture, the team led by the retired Justice Devendra Kumar Arora hands over the file of the detailed study, signifying a big move toward official accountability.

From 45 % to 15 % – A Seismic Demographic Shift

There are historical references confirming that Hindus constituted around 45 % of Sambhal’s population at the time of India’s independence. The current report is pointing to a significant decline to only 15 %. The reasons mentioned are communal riots without any control, political management by the community leaders through rewards and special favors, and social and economic marginalization going on all the time.

Report’s Polarising Findings: Terror Networks and Organized Crime

One of the inquiry’s shocking aspects is the depiction of the terrorist activities that come from the ethnically and religiously motivated organizations: some are linked to Al-Qaeda, and others are local groups. On top of it, the research reveals that there are highly lucrative arms and drugs distribution networks that have not only made the local area insecure but also have had a strong influence on the flow of people from the region.

Strengthen Governance and Safety

The judicial panel recommended that the state government make an immediate move to turn around the demographic cycle. They have suggested, among other things, that the police force should be increased, that activities for peaceful coexistence should be carried out, and that past policies that may have been the reason for migration should be re-examined.
