Anurag Dhanda Shares Video as Delhi Faces Flood-Like Situation

In the past, whenever there was a crisis, proper flood relief arrangements were made for citizens. This time, the situation has worsened.”

The continuous rise in the Yamuna river water level has led to flood-like conditions in several parts of Delhi, forcing people to leave their homes and take shelter in relief camps. Residents say that this year’s arrangements are not as effective as in the past.

Anurag Dhanda Highlights Citizens’ Concerns

AAP’s National Media In-charge Anurag Dhanda shared a video on his social media platform ‘X’, where a woman can be seen expressing her disappointment with the current relief measures. She said, “Earlier, we had all the facilities. This time, nothing is being provided. In the past, people used to receive dry ration, cooked meals, electricity, fans, mattresses, and benches. Now, only temporary shade has been given, and very little support is available.”

Sharing the video, Anurag Dhanda wrote, “The people of Delhi are remembering Arvind Kejriwal’s government. In the past, whenever there was a crisis, proper flood relief arrangements were made for citizens. This time, the situation has worsened.”

Kejriwal Visits Flood-Hit Areas

Amid worsening conditions, AAP National Convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited the Shastri Park area to review the situation. He interacted with locals affected by the severe waterlogging and assured them of support.

The rise in water levels has been triggered by continuous rainfall and the release of excess water from Haryana, leaving large parts of Delhi submerged. Authorities are on high alert and have set up temporary camps for affected families. However, many residents continue to demand better arrangements, claiming that the relief facilities are insufficient compared to previous years.

As Delhi struggles with the flood-like crisis, the debate around the effectiveness of current arrangements versus past relief efforts has once again come into focus.
