In this time of grief, Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal of the Aam Aadmi Party has announced a hope-filled initiative: every family who lost a life in the floods will be given a permanent job at LPU University. Mittal also contributed ₹20 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to help the government’s flood relief work. He praised Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his team for setting up 196 relief camps and safely rescuing over 20,000 people.
The LPU team will contact every affected family personally. Families who have not yet been reached are encouraged to come forward so that help can reach them quickly. This initiative is about more than money, it is about long-term support, local jobs, and caring for people during hard times.
