On the second day of the ongoing South Korea tour, Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora held an important meeting with representatives of the GS Group, one of South Korea’s major conglomerates. The minister extended a formal invitation to the company to participate in the Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit 2026 and explore investment opportunities across various sectors in the state.
During the meeting, Arora highlighted Punjab’s rapidly improving industrial ecosystem, investor-friendly policies, and the government’s focus on building a future-ready economy. He emphasized that Punjab is committed to providing global companies with a stable environment, streamlined clearances, and world-class infrastructure.

The minister briefed the GS Group leadership about the state’s emerging sectors—such as renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, electronics, agro-processing, logistics, and IT services—where foreign companies can establish long-term partnerships.
He assured the delegation that the Punjab Government, under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is taking decisive steps to modernize industries, enhance ease of doing business, and support new ventures through policy reforms and proactive facilitation.
