Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is set to host the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit 2026, scheduled to take place from March 13 to March 15 in Mohali. The sixth edition of the summit aims to position Punjab as a competitive and future-ready investment destination by attracting both domestic and global investors.
The event is expected to serve as a major platform to showcase Punjab’s industrial potential, policy reforms, and infrastructure readiness at a time when states are actively competing for fresh investments.
Platform for Investors, Policymakers, and Industry Leaders
The summit will bring together industrialists, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and innovators to discuss collaboration opportunities and long-term growth strategies. Planned sessions include sector-specific discussions, policy briefings, and direct interactions between investors and senior government officials.
Bhagwant Mann has taken an active role in promoting the summit through investment roadshows in cities such as Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Delhi, along with outreach efforts abroad, including meetings with business groups in South Korea. These efforts are aimed at building confidence and expanding Punjab’s global investor network.
Key Sectors in Focus
The Progressive Punjab Investors Summit 2026 will highlight opportunities across a wide range of sectors. These include manufacturing, renewable energy, mobility solutions, electronics, automotive components, food processing, consumer durables, tyres, and infrastructure development.
Punjab is emphasising its transparent governance model, single-window clearance system, and faster project approvals to improve ease of doing business. Officials point out that the state has already attracted over one point four lakh crore rupees in investments through the Invest Punjab initiative.
Strong Promotion and Advantage Punjab Pitch
During promotion campaigns, Mann has highlighted Punjab’s skilled workforce, reliable power availability, industrial connectivity, and logistics advantages. Roadshows have featured one-on-one meetings with investors and presentations under the “Advantage Punjab” theme to encourage long-term partnerships.
