Narendra Modi Stadium
Located near the Sabarmati River banks, the Narendra Modi Stadium is the world’s largest cricket stadium. The stadium can accommodate up to 1.3 lakh cricket fans, eclipsing the previous record of 90,000 spectators at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.
The ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2026 win for India changed the thought process of many people that the stadium is cursed.

In the match, Australia won by 6 wickets with 42 balls still left after India scored 240 for 10 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Dashing Australian opener Travis Head scored a staggering 137 runs off 120 balls. Head scored 4 sixes and 15 fours in his victory. Marnus Labuschagne scored 58 runs off 110 balls.
Previously, Rohit Sharma had scored 47 runs off 31 balls, Virat Kohli scored 54 off 63 balls and KL Rahul scored 66 off 107 balls.
