Rapper Badshah is once again in the news after reports claimed that he secretly married Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi in March 2026. The wedding was said to be a private ceremony attended only by close family members and friends. Although the couple did not release any official statement, photos shared by Isha’s mother on social media went viral and brought the actress into the national spotlight.
The ceremony looked simple and traditional. Badshah was seen wearing a brown-olive kurta with a golden saafa, while Isha Rikhi wore a red bridal salwar kameez with gold embroidery and a maang tikka. After the photos surfaced online, many fans became curious not only about their relationship but also about Isha Rikhi’s past and her life before fame.
Reports say Badshah and Isha Rikhi dated for nearly four years before getting married. The two reportedly met at a mutual friend’s party in 2021 and instantly connected because of their similar taste in films and music. Despite being together for years, they kept their relationship very private and avoided sharing couple photos or making public appearances together.
Isha Rikhi – Early Life And Struggle Before Fame
Isha Rikhi was born in Chandigarh and comes from a lower-middle-class family. She studied at Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School and later completed her graduation from Panjab University, Chandigarh. However, her journey was not easy. A big turning point came when she lost her father, Pradeep Kumar Rikhi, at a young age.
After her father’s death, she had to take responsibility early in life. To support herself and start her career, she began working while she was still in Class 12. She started modelling at a young age and also worked for some time at an event management company. These early struggles helped her become independent and prepared her for the entertainment industry.
Interestingly, Isha Rikhi never planned to become an actress. In an earlier interview, she said she was not interested in acting in the beginning. Her mother, Poonam Rikhi, who once wanted to become an actress herself, encouraged her to try modelling and films. Slowly, Isha changed her mind and decided to enter the industry.
Before films, she became a known face in modelling. She appeared in many print and TV advertisements and even featured in a Kalyan Jewellers commercial with Amitabh Bachchan. She also walked the ramp for designers like Anju Modi and Rohit Verma. Apart from that, she took part in fashion shows linked with Salman Khan’s Being Human and events connected with Akshay Kumar.

Isha Rikhi’s Film Journey
Isha Rikhi started her film career with the Punjabi hit Jatt & Juliet in 2012. She later played the lead role in Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De in 2013, which helped her become popular in Punjabi cinema. After that, she worked in several Punjabi films and slowly built a strong career.
She made her Bollywood debut with the 2018 film Nawabzaade. The film starred Raghav Juyal and Punit Pathak and also had special appearances by Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Badshah. Interestingly, this film came years before rumours about her relationship with the rapper started.
