Weather Update May 5 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that several parts in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab are likely to be hit with devastating rain showers accompanied by violent thunderstorms.

Balian Wali, Nathana, Tapa, Dhanaula, Kot Shamir, Lehra Mohabbat, Bhadaur, Varanasi, Meerut, Hastinapur and Lucknow are likely to witness a pleasant weather throughout the day. A slight possibility of rain showers is likely in late evening or night hours.
Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Delhi, Faridabad, Kosi Kalan and Ghaziabad are likely to experience similar weather conditions. Heavy duststorms may be visible in some regions. Strong winds blowing at 40 to 50 kmph may help in bringing down maximum temperatures by 2-3 degrees Celsius.

Panna, Burhanpur, Shivpuri, Tikamgarh, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Ringas, Bateshwar, Neemuch, Khargone, Khandwa, Barwani, Jhabua are Orchha are also likely to experience similar weather conditions.
