BMW Z4 Roadster: This sports car powers 3 litre, 6 cylinder engine that generates 340 horsepower, all you must know about this mean machine

BMW Z4 Roadster: The new Z4 Roadster has been introduced in India by BMW. It is available as the BMW Z4 M40i BMW M Performance variant and costs Rs 89,30,000 (ex-showroom). When compared to the 2019 BMW Z4, which had a debut price that ranged from Rs 64.9 lakh to Rs 78.9 lakh, this is much more expensive.The new Z4 is more sporty and aesthetically pleasing than ever thanks to a design that combines elements of a roadster and a BMW M. It will be available as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU) model starting in June 2023 and will be on display at all local BMW stores.

Know about the colour

There are enticing external and interior colour options for the new BMW Z4 M40i. Alpine White is a non-metallic colour choice for the exteriors, and Thundernight, Skyscraper Grey, Portimao Blue, Black Sapphire, San Francisco Red, and a Frozen Grey II are possible metallic colours. Vernasca Black, Vernasca Cognac, and Vernasca Magma Red leather upholstery decorates the interior of the cabin, which has an aluminium mesh effect throughout.

Know about the design

The Z4 M40i adopts the BMW modern design language and features a kidney-shaped grille with horizontal slats and substantial air intakes. Additionally, it has an extended hood and LED headlamps that are vertically positioned. Its features also include huge wheel arches and aerodynamic air vents.With a number of amenities for the driver and passengers, the interior is also sporty in appearance. Ambient illumination, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and two zones of individually controllable air conditioning are included. Driver amenities include a M leather steering wheel in addition to an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory.

BMW Z4 Roadster: Feature

Additional features include the next-generation BMW iDrive with touch controller, Wireless Apple Car Play and Bluetooth, along with 2 USB ports, and BMW Live Cockpit Professional with adaptive Navigation system and 3D maps. There are various storage areas visible in the cabin, including net baskets below the seats, sizable cup holders, and door pockets.

Know about the performance

The 3 litre, 6 cylinder, in-line engine that powers the BMW Z4 M40i produces 500 Nm of peak torque and 340 horsepower at 1,600–4,500 rpm. From 0 to 100 km/h, acceleration takes 4.5 seconds. A 8 gear Steptronic Sport Transmission is used to couple the engine, and Variable Sport Steering changes the steering in response to speed. Drivers can choose between the Ecopro, Comfort, and Sport driving modes for a better driving experience, while the Adaptive M Suspension, M Sport brakes, and Sport differential provide superior handling. This is done via the Driving Experience Control button.
