Hyundai Motor : The 1.4-liter turbo-petrol Creta compact SUV version has been quietly discontinued by Hyundai Motor India. On the official website of the car manufacturer, the specific SUV variant is no longer accessible. The reason for the variant's discontinuation has not been given by the automaker. However, given that the automaker earlier this month gave the SUV a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, it might be. Another reason for this discontinuation may be the higher cost of an SUV with a turbocharged engine.

Specifications of Hyundai Creta

Since the beginning, Creta has been a major player for Hyundai.

The Creta's 1.4-liter turbo-petrol version comes with a six-speed manual transmission, but a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission is also available. The Hyundai Creta's 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine can produce up to 242 Nm of maximum torque and 138 bhp of maximum power.

Engine and power

The 1.5-liter gasoline engine can produce 143.8 Nm of maximum torque at 4,500 rpm and 113 bhp of peak power at 6,300 rpm. The SUV's engine is paired with a six-speed IVT. The SUV's diesel engine has a maximum output of 250 Nm at 1,500–2,750 rpm and 114 bhp at 4,000 rpm. Both the gasoline and diesel versions of the SUV, according to Hyundai, are prepared to run on E20 fuel. Additionally, an integrated starter generator (ISG) with an idle start and go function is included with the updated Hyundai Creta.

Since the introduction of this model, the Hyundai Creta has been one of the most well-liked SUVs in India. Additionally, it has always been a major source of revenue for the brand.
