Based on latest Sensuous Sportiness styling

The 2023 Hyundai Verna, internally dubbed BN7, will be based on the newest Sensuous Sportiness aesthetic language. It will have a wider front grille, brand new LED headlamps and integrated LED tail lights, a more aggressive overall appearance with extra creases and lines, and a more sculpted hood, and will take many design aspects from the worldwide Elantra and Sonata models.

Maximum power

A wider trunk, new alloy wheel design, notchback-like roofline, and other improvements give the five-seater a distinct appearance. The new generation Hyundai Verna will be powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder VTVT naturally-aspirated petrol engine with a maximum power output of 115 PS and 144 Nm.

Six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch

The 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged GDI gasoline engine, which produces 120 PS and 172 Nm, will be replaced by a larger and more powerful 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine from the worldwide stable. It is estimated to produce 160 PS and 253 Nm and to be paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
