Kia Seltos SUV: In India, the Kia Seltos has long been one of the most popular compact SUV options. The Seltos, as the Korean marque's inaugural model, was incredibly well received, and it's reasonable to say that it was a blockbuster hit. In less than four years since its launch in August 2019—Kia India's announcement—the Seltos has sold five lakh units in the Indian market! The mid-size SUV quickly rose to the top of sales in its market, which at the time included the Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, and its cousin, the Hyundai Creta in its previous generation.

As a result, it can be credited with revolutionising the mid-size SUV market, which has since grown to become one of the most popular in the nation. Due to its proportioned, attractive, and sporty-looking exteriors, the Kia Seltos also performs well in the aesthetics category.

Know about the sunroof

The Seltos will shortly undergo a redesign, with a debut anticipated as early as next month. Both the front and rear bumpers will probably be replaced, along with the grille, headlamps, linked taillights, and possibly a panoramic sunroof. The inside will also likely be overhauled with a digital instrument panel and additional features. We still don't know if Kia will upgrade the Seltos with ADAS safety technology.

Kia Seltos India: engine

The two engines currently available for the Seltos are the 1.5-liter NA petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines, both of which have a maximum output of 115 PS. As soon as the BS6 Phase II pollution rules were into effect, the 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine was removed from production. Nevertheless, it is anticipated that the model will borrow the new 1.5-liter from the Hyundai Group.
