A 124.7cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing 14.5PS at 9,250rpm and 12Nm at 8000rpm powers the KTM 125 Duke. The 6-speed transmission is still linked to the motor.

The same 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that was previously used to power the Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 is still used. The engine generates 18.4PS and 14.1Nm while mated to a six-speed transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Features

The 125 Duke has a sporty body and a full-digital instrument console with readouts for the gear position indication, average fuel efficiency, service indicator, and distance until empty as well as a side-stand warning light. In the middle of the bike is also a shift indicator. In addition, it has turn indicators and an LED taillight.

An LCD instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity are also included in the Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0. You can access features like call, email, and SMS alerts, service reminders, last location parked, mileage, malfunction warnings, and post-ride metrics using the Yamaha Y-Connect smartphone app. Sadly, turn-by-turn navigation is not available on the bike, which is frustrating. With the most recent upgrade, the bike now has dual-channel ABS, LED indicators, and traction control. The side stand engine kill function, slip-assist clutch, LED headlights, and taillights are other noteworthy features.

Price in India and colours

The KTM 125 Duke costs Rs 1,78,041 (ex-showroom Delhi) and comes in Ceramic White and Electronic Orange.

The pricing of the Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 is Rs 1,68,400 for all four colour options: Ice Fluo-Vermillion, Cyan Storm, Racing Blue, and Metallic Black DLX (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
