Made in India Honda Unicorn launched in Nigeria for Rs 2.5 lakh with a slightly different look, all you need to know

Honda Unicorn: In the commuter class, the Honda Unicorn saw tremendous success in India and other Asian nations. Currently, Honda is making the Unicorn available in Nigeria as well. The bike was just introduced by the company and is distinct from the model offered here.

The fascia of the Honda Unicorn that has been introduced in Nigeria is slightly different. It resembles the unit from the SP125. In addition, the bike features a single-piece seat with a grab bar, bulb indicators, and a very functional design.

The same 162.77cc single-cylinder engine, rated at 12.7bhp and 14Nm, powers it. The engine is housed in a diamond-shaped chassis and connected to a five-speed transmission. It is supported by a monoshock and regular USD front forks. The braking system consists of a single front disc brake and a rear drum brake. The bike has alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The Unicorn has a three-pod instrument cluster with just analogue devices. In addition, it has ABS for safety.

Price in Nigeria

The Unicorn is listed for NGN 14,00,000 by Honda in Nigeria (approximately Rs 2.50 lakh). This is more than twice the price for which it is available in India, it is available for Rs 1.05 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
