Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus seen being tested again, might come in 7 and 9 seater variants, all we know so far

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus: The body-on-frame, sub-four metre Bolero Neo SUV will soon be joined by a longer version, the Bolero Neo Plus, from Mahindra, expanding the Bolero lineup. The incoming Bolero Neo SUV isn’t entirely new; rather, it’s a revamped version of the tough TUV300 Plus, which was available from 2018 until April 2020.

The Bolero Neo Plus was previously being tested by Mahindra, and following a pause, the manufacturer has resumed testing the vehicle. A closer look at the future SUV’s design may be found in the most recent spy photos that have surfaced.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus Design

The spy photos show the Bolero Neo Plus moving through congested areas. The Bolero name tag on the tailgate was camouflaged, indicating the automaker doesn’t want to disclose the model’s full name. Even the Mahindra badge was hidden, indicating that the automaker was using its new twin-peak logo.

Expect the Mahindra Bolero Neo to share many of the same design features as the Bolero Neo. According to the spy photos, the SUV has a sculpted front bumper, a toothy grille completed in chrome, and black shoulder panelling that extends the entire length of the SUV. The identical 15-inch alloy wheels that are on the Bolero Neo will also be on the Bolero Neo Plus. The Bolero Neo Plus does not appear to have blacked-out B- and C-pillars, unlike its smaller sibling.

The Plus’s rear design would change dramatically from the Bolero Neo’s, as it did with the TUV300 and TUV300 Plus. Slight rear bumper and taillight changes will be made to the Bolero Neo Plus. However, it will still have a spare wheel installed on the tailgate with a ‘X’ cover.

Variants

According to the rumours, the Bolero Neo Plus would be available in three trim levels and two seating arrangements, including a seven and a nine-seater version. The nine-seat configuration will have a two-three-four structure, with two in the front, three in the middle row, and four on benches in the back. While all of the seats in the seven-seater version will face forward.

Specifications

The 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine that powers the Bolero Neo has a 100bhp and 260Nm of torque rating. However, we anticipate that the Indian SUV manufacturer would supply a larger engine along with the Neo Plus model with additional strength.
