Rimac Nevera EV Car: Electric vehicle creates a record, reaches from 0-400-0 kmph in just 29.93 secs, all you must know

Rimac Nevera EV Car: With the all-electric Nevera hypercar, Rimac has broken previous world records. On a single day, the Croatian hypercar broke 23 records for acceleration and braking at a German test track. The Pininfarina Battista speed records from back in February were further surpassed by these new ones, achieved by Autocar India.

Can go 0-400kmph in just 29.93 secs

The Pininfarina Battista (1.86sec) set the previous record, which was beaten by the all-electric Nevera (1.81sec) in the 0-100kph sprint. The Koenigsegg Regera set the previous record for 2019 with its 0-400kph and back-to-0 run, but the Nevera beat it in 29.93 seconds.

Two independent verifiers, Dewesoft and RaceLogic, recorded the Rimac Nevera’s timings, with the vehicle manufacturer using the slower times as the records. The squad completed several runs and broke numerous previous marks, including a standing quarter-mile time.

Broke the record of Pininfarina Battista

Some of the records that the Nevera broke were previously held by the Pininfarina Battista, some of which were established earlier this year by the Autocar India team. Additionally, Rimac has been providing battery and powertrain technology for the Battista to Automobili Pininfarina.

Rimac Nevera EV Car: Battery and range

The Rimac Nevera is an electric hypercar that costs €2 million (about Rs. 17.84 crore) and employs four motors—one for each wheel—to produce 1,914 horsepower and 2,369 Nm of torque. The 120kWh battery pack that powers the Nevera gives it a 490km WLTP-rated range. The torque transmitted to each wheel is calculated by an inbuilt Nvidia supercomputer roughly 100 times every second.
