Tork Kratos R EV Bike: New Urban Trim variant launched with 180km of range and a top speed of 70kmph, details

Tork Kratos R EV Bike: The Tork Kratos R Urban trim is now available in India for Rs 1,67,499 (ex-showroom Pune; includes FAME 2 subsidy). It has a reported top speed of 70 kmph and a range of 100 km, among other features. The Tork Kratos is a sporty commuter that falls between the high-end, Ultraviolette F77 and the expensive, high-performance Revolt RV 400.

Tork has added a number of features to the Kratos line, including LED lighting, a fully digital console with Bluetooth support, and navigation. In addition, you get OTA updates, a USB charging outlet, a crash alert system, ride analytics, and multi-riding modes. Regenerative braking is advantageous for the Kratos as well. For only 30 days, the Kratos R Urban trim receives the same features as the regular R variant. Customers can then pay Rs 20,000 within six months of purchase to permanently keep the features.

Range and Speed

The 4kW axial flux motor powers the Tork Kratos R. The maximum power output and maximum torque are 9kW and 38Nm, respectively. From 0 to 40kmph, the standard R version accelerates in 3.5 seconds. The motor is coupled with a 4kWh Lithium-ion battery that, in the R variant, has a real-world range of 120 km and an IDC range of 180 km. The Urban trim's stated top speed is 70 kph, and its stated range is 100 km. The bike can be charged to roughly 80% of its capacity using the fast-charging method in about one hour.
