Skoda has confirmed August 18, 2026, as the launch date for the Slavia facelift in India. The update follows the recently refreshed Kushaq SUV and continues the automaker’s push to keep its India lineup current.

Exterior Gets a Sharper Look
The facelifted Slavia will sport a redesigned front end with a larger butterfly grille featuring an illuminated strip, a sportier bumper with sharper cuts, and new LED headlamps with revised internals. At the rear, expect updated LED tail-lamps, a reworked bumper, illuminated Skoda lettering on the tailgate, and new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Cabin Upgrades and New Tech
Inside, the dashboard layout carries over but with a refreshed cabin theme and upholstery. The sedan is expected to get a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, an updated 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an AI assistant, and a rear-seat massage function borrowed from the Kushaq facelift. Other retained features include automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a sunroof, and a wireless charger.
Powertrain Gets a Boost
Engine options remain the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (115 PS, 178 Nm) and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (150 PS, 250 Nm) units. The key change is a new 8-speed automatic gearbox for the 1.0 TSI engine, replacing the outgoing torque converter unit, alongside the existing 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG options.
Pricing and Rivals
Prices are expected to range between roughly Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 19 lakh, a step up from the current model. The updated Slavia will continue to lock horns with the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna, and Honda City in India’s midsize sedan segment, a category increasingly overshadowed by SUV sales.
