2023 Force Gurkha: The Real Driving Emission (RDE) and BS6 phase II regulations caused the Force Gurkha to be cancelled and manufacture halted. And now there are rumours that Force Motors will introduce the revised Gurkha next month, complete with an RDE-compliant engine, extra features, and minor cosmetic modifications.
The Force Gurkha has frequently been seen doing tests on Indian roadways. Without any concealment, the pick-up variant of the Gurkha was also sighted in testing and appeared to be ready for production. The front bumper, fog lamp housing, and new grille of the Force Gurkha are all anticipated. It will have newly created 16-inch alloy wheels and have its similar shape and side profile.
It will have squared wheel arches, thick body cladding, an air intake snorkel, LED headlights with DRLs, a spare wheel located on the tailboard, a ladder and many more features. Along with the three-door model, the Gurkha's five-door counterpart is also anticipated to be released by the firm.
The dashboard design will stay the same inside, with a few small modifications. An infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, manual air conditioning, electricly adjustable ORVMs, 4 speakers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, central locking, armrests, and many other features will be included.
The same tried-and-true 2.6-liter turbocharged diesel engine from Mercedes will power the new Gurkha. The engine will be made RDE compliant and will have a power output of 250 Nm and 90 horsepower. Among the available transmissions is a 5-speed manual.
