Ather 450 Apex: The Bengaluru, India-based EV manufacturer Ather Energy has begun shipping their exclusive 450 Apex electric scooter to customers all throughout the country. The unique orange and blue colour scheme and performance upgrades make the 450 Apex stand out.
This model, which is priced at Rs. 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom, excluding FAME 2 subsidy), represents ten years of innovation from the company.
Ather 450 Apex specs
A 3.7kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a 7kW mid-mounted electric motor power the EV. A real-world range of up to 110 km is promised by the configuration, with an ARAI claimed range of up to 157 km.
Features onboard
The scooter has a 7.0-inch full-colour TFT display, built-in navigation, and smartphone connectivity.
The ‘Magic Twist,’ a brand-new feature of the 450 Apex, enables regenerative braking. Riders can activate this mechanism by turning the throttle in the opposite way up to a 15-degree angle. This feature increases the scooter’s efficiency by storing energy for when it decelerates.
