Mahindra Thar EV: Mahindra & Mahindra demonstrated the Global Pik Up and Thar.e concepts at the Futurescape event. Both of these concepts will go into production soon. Thar 5 Door Already in the Lineup
After launching the three-door 2WD variant of the Thar, Mahindra started working on a bigger 5-door variant of the lifestyle SUV. The upcoming Thar is expected to launch in the second half of 2024 and it will sit above the three-door Thar. Additionally, the USP of the upcoming 5-door Thar will be its premium features and spacious cabin. On the other hand, the electrified Thar will offer a futuristic design and features that will make it stand out in the EV market.
Mahindra Thar EV Design
As the concept showcased at the Futurescape Event, The Mahindra Thar EV will carry a squarish design. The Thar EV will come with a lifted design. The square-shaped LED daytime running lights, Thar.e badging and triple horizontal LED light slats will further enhance the look of Thar EV.
Mahindra Thar EV Expected Features
The upcoming Thar EV is expected to be jewelled with an attractive and good-looking pair of alloy wheels. The electrified SUV will get a futuristic two-spoke octagonal steering wheel. The Thar EV will get a bigger infotainment screen and driver display loaded with features. Although Mahindra has not released any information regarding the driving range of the electrified Thar, it is expected that the Thar.e will provide a maximum driving range of more than 400 km on a solitary charge.
