Powertrain Details
The Maruti Swift is powered by a 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine that generates 89PS and 113Nm of torque. Options include manual five-speed gearboxes and automated manual transmissions. With idle start-stop technology, its efficiency ratings are 23.20 and 23.76 km/l in manual and automated modes, respectively.
The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (120 PS/170 Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (115 PS/260 Nm) engine options for the Tata Nexon are available in both petrol and diesel versions. Although the diesel unit can only be ordered with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT, the former can be ordered with four different gearbox options: a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a new 7-speed dual-clutch DCT. Lower-cost AMT gearbox Nexon models have been released by Tata.
Features onboard
A 7-inch touchscreen entertainment system, a 4.2-inch colour gauge cluster, cruise control, automated climate control, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and keyless entry with a push-button start-stop are some of the aspects of the Swift. Protective features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP with hill assist, and a rear parking camera with parking sensors.
10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, 10.25-inch completely digital driver’s display, auto air conditioning, wireless phone charging, height-adjustable and ventilated front seats, cruise control, and paddle shifters are some of the salient features. A nine-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer and Harman-enhanced AudioworX is also included.

Prices for the Maruti Swift in Delhi range from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 9.03 lakh ex-showroom.
Prices for Tata Nexon range from Rs 8.15 lakh to Rs 15.60 lakh. The price range for the Nexon Dark Edition models (ex-showroom Delhi) is Rs 11.45 lakh to Rs 15.80 lakh.
