Bajaj designed the Pulsar P150 in a completely different way. The P150 looks a lot more stylish, youthful, and sporty than the regular Pulsar 150. The fuel tank and side panels have cuts and creases, and the LED projector headlight is a unique feature for the 150-160cc segment. The way the seats are split up also works well with the rest of the design. On the other hand, the Hero Xtreme 160R looks more modern and has a more powerful design. The 160R's LED headlight is also a nice touch. Hero gives the Xtreme handle guards to make it even safer.

Engine of Bajaj Pulsar P150 and Hero Xtreme 160R

The Bajaj Pulsar P150 is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that has been updated and has a rating of 14.5bhp and 13.5Nm. It is paired with a five-speed transmission, and the spread of torque is pretty even, so the overall performance is quite quick. A 163cc single-cylinder engine is in the Hero Xtreme 160R. It has 15hp and 14Nm of power and is connected to a five-speed transmission. The Xtreme 160R is also fun to ride, just like the P150.

Features of the P150 include LED lighting, a USB charging port, ABS, and a semi-digital instrument console. Its cluster has all the important readouts, like the speedometer, odometer, tachometer, trip metre, fuel level readout, gear position indicator, and more. The Xtreme 160R, on the other hand, has LED lighting, an LCD whose brightness can be changed, and smartphone connectivity. This lets you connect your phone to the bike's console and use features like tow away alert, topple alert, driving score, geo fence alert, and more.

The front of both two-wheelers has telescopic forks, and the back has a single shock. The front disc on the P150 is 260mm and the back disc is 230mm. The front disc on the Xtreme 160R is 276mm and the back disc is 220mm. Both bikes only have one channel of ABS. Both bikes have 17-inch wheels, but the P150 has 90/90 front and 110/80 rear tyres, while the Xtreme 160R has 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tyres.

Price of Bajaj Pulsar P150 and Hero Xtreme 160R

The twin disc model of the Bajaj P150 costs Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), while the Hero Xtreme 160R costs Rs 1.21 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
