LG Laptops: On the 19th of September, in Seoul (South Korea), The South Korean multinational conglomerate LG introduced two new laptop models that have a portable big-screen look akin to the company’s light Gram series, despite the fact that the new releases are heavier.
The two versions, which have been given the names Ultra PC 17 and Ultra PC 16, have reportedly been introduced with starting pricing of USD 1,599 and USD 999, respectively, as reported by The Verge.
New models come pre-installed with Glance by Mira Metrix
These brand-new models come pre-installed with Glance by Mira Metrix, a piece of software that is increasingly typical of higher-end laptops and is included with these new models. The location of a user can be determined using the program by utilizing the webcam that is installed on the device.

This enables the laptop to lock the screen automatically whenever the user moves their attention away from the device. If it detects that someone is looking over your shoulder, it will also cause the screen to become pixelated.
According to a story from The Verge, LG even stated that its product is capable of moving the mouse and the active window to whichever screen the user is looking at automatically if the user has multiple external displays attached.
Powered by Ryzen 5825U and Intel Core i7 processor
The 17-inch model of these new personal computers weighs 4.37 pounds, while the 16-inch model weighs 3.63 pounds. This is a significant increase in weight when compared to Gram. The 17-inch model also includes an option for an external GPU, and that choice is Nvidia’s RTX 3050. This gives the 17-inch device the capability to handle more demanding graphic jobs.
According to The Verge, the 17-inch model is driven by an Intel Core i7 processor from the 12th generation, while the 16-inch variant is powered by a Ryzen 5825U processor. However, the 16-inch model does not include an option for an external graphics card.
