OnePlus 11: Fast charging, excellent display and outstanding UI rolled into this phone, other details and launch timeline here

OnePlus 11: As 2022 draws to a close, online leaks regarding the upcoming year’s top smartphones have begun to appear. The OnePlus 11 is one of them. There isn’t much left to conjecture about the brand’s future premium 5G phone because there has already been a lot of information published online. The following flagship model will have a newer, faster Qualcomm chip, a better display, quicker charging support, and more. Here is all the information we currently have about it.

Launch without any pro model

According to the sources, the company may simply release the ordinary model in the OnePlus 11 series this time around instead of a Pro variant. When OnePlus made the decision to only offer the OnePlus 10 Pro edition last year, the firm simply unveiled new, lower-cost premium phones under new names rather than releasing a standard version of the device.

Expected specifications

According to Chinese source Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 11 could boast a sizable 6.7-inch screen with capabilities for 2K resolution. Punch-hole displays will probably be used, and the alteration might only be noticeable on the back panel. For a smoother scrolling experience, a 120Hz refresh rate for the AMOLED panel is anticipated.

A premium phone

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen2 chipset for delivering top performance is most likely to be found inside. The company offers 256GB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM for the gadget. Given that OnePlus has never included storage expansion with any of its phones, the upcoming version may still lack this feature. Although it is unknown at the time, considering this is a premium phone, we might get the alert slider that OnePlus has been omitting on some of its models.

Battery and charging

According to the rumours, the OnePlus 11 would only support 100W fast charging, which is less than the 150W charging offered by the OnePlus 10R. The brand will likely bundle a fast charger in the retail box, considering it has been offering it with all the devices.

Dolby Atmos compatibility is reportedly included in the OnePlus 11 to provide a better audio experience. The device will likely contain two speakers for a stereo effect. It is presently uncertain if the device will feature wireless charging or have an IP water-resistant rating.

Cameras

There could be three cameras on the back, including a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera in addition to a 50-megapixel main sensor. A 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom may be used in addition to it. OnePlus might include a single 16-megapixel camera on the front.

The most recent model is anticipated to include some camera enhancements in order to compete directly with devices like the Pixel 7 lineup and the iPhone 14 series. Hasselblad is likely to support the next phone’s cameras for improved colour calibration and other enhancements.

Launch timeline

When the business intends to introduce the OnePlus 11 is yet unknown officially. It is anticipated to come in the first half of 2023, about at the same time as the introduction of its earlier iteration in India. In March of this year, the OnePlus 10 Pro made its debut in the nation. As part of the company’s strategy to be the first to provide a device with Qualcomm’s future Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the OnePlus 11 is rumoured to launch in China this year.
