As a follow-up to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which was introduced earlier this year in India, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is most likely to be released. Some important details of the next Samsung foldable smartphone have been disclosed by analysts months ahead of the anticipated debut date. According to the most recent leak, Samsung might make some changes to the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s display.
Samsung Galaxy Z flip 5 design updates
The smartphone is anticipated to receive enhancements in the coming year, according to an analyst. He claimed that Samsung would increase the size of the cover display for the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The cover display for the clamshell-style foldable smartphone will be bigger than 3 inches.
Compared to the original Galaxy Z Flip, which had a considerably smaller 1.1-inch cover screen, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 features a 1.9-inch OLED external display.
Given that its rivals offer a larger screen, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series’ outside display is overdue for an upgrade. The Moto Razr 2022, for instance, sports a 2.7-inch OLED outside the display. The Find N2 Flip is expected to be released by Oppo with a 3.26-inch OLED cover display.
According to the expert, Samsung will also employ a new hinge style that should “reduce the visibility of the seam.” The foldable display on the Flip phone now has a wrinkle that is noticeable when viewed from the sides. The analyst withheld any technical information regarding the foldable display.
Should the leaks be trusted?
Given that the launch is still more than seven months away, it is too soon to confirm the information that has leaked. Consequently, it is wise to treat the information that has leaked with caution. Having said that, it wouldn’t be surprising if additional facts about the smartphone (and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5) leaked online as those devices’ specifications are frequently made public many months before to their official release.
