WhatsApp Share Screen feature: Video calls on social messaging site gets an upgrade

WhatsApp Share Screen feature

WhatsApp Share Screen feature: Users can start screen sharing by tapping the “Share” icon and selecting either to share a particular programme or the entire screen. The business stated in a statement that screen sharing “let’s you share a live view of your screen during the call, whether sharing documents for work, browsing photos with family, planning a vacation or shopping online with friends, or just helping grandparents with tech support.”

WhatsApp users may also take use of video calls in landscape mode for a larger and more immersive viewing and sharing experience on smartphones.

From video call to share screen feature

In November 2016, WhatsApp introduced video calling to all users of the service. WhatsApp has revealed that it would soon offer message editing functionality for iOS images with captions. According to the company’s official changelog, “Added message editing support for media with captions.”

The company is also introducing new action sheets and an improved user interface (UI) with transparent bars. The changelog also noted that the larger set of stickers, which includes more Avatars, and the easier navigation of the revamped sticker tray are still being rolled out.

WhatsApp Share Screen feature: when will it come

The business stated that all of these features will be released over the upcoming weeks. The ability to silence incoming calls from unknown numbers and support for landscape mode for video conversations on iOS were both widely released by the messaging app WhatsApp last month.

A new voice chat feature for group discussions is apparently being rolled out by the Meta-owned messaging service on Android beta.
