Yamaha R3, MT-03 unveiled at MotoGP Bharat; comes with 321cc liquid-cooled 2-cylinder engine, details

Yamaha R3, MT-03: The Yamaha R3 and the MT-03, siblings of the Racing Blue brand’s sports bikes, have had their covers removed at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, which is staging the first MotoGP Bharat or Grand Prix of India. Yamaha has unveiled both motorcycles in their entirety, however they haven’t given a specific date for their formal introduction. However, unlike the R3, the MT-03’s riding ergonomics are a little more pleasant because to the higher straight-line handlebar. The R3 is expected to cost roughly Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom), while the MT-03 might undercut the former by about Rs 20,000. Let’s checkout the specifications first.

The 321cc liquid-cooled 2-cylinder engine that powers both the fully-faired R3 and the bare-bones MT-03 generates 41.4 horsepower and 29.6 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch is connected to the motor. The motorcycles’ suspension system, which consists of KYB upside-down front forks with 130mm of travel and a rear monoshock with 125mm of travel, likewise uses the same hardware. With the help of a dual-channel ABS, a 298mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc are responsible for stopping the vehicle. Dual LED headlamps, LED indicators, and LCD instrument clusters are among the features of both bikes.
