Honda i-M and i-M1 e EV Scooty in works; may go on sale in 2024, details

Honda has registered the trademarks i-M and i-M1 e despite the possibility that they will be sold under the 'Activa' name.

Honda i-M and i-M1 e EV Scooty: The craze of electric vehicles are growing day by day due to the increasing rates of petrol and diesel. Nowadays everyone wants a electric vehicle that is affordable and high range. And the electric scooter segment gets fit into these qualities. To increase the craze of people towards the electric vehicles Honda has announced two distinct electric scooters for India that will go on sale in 2024. Despite the likelihood that Honda would release them under the ‘Activa’ brand, the corporation has registered the trademarks i-M and i-M1 e.

Here is the confirmation of this Honda i-M and i-M1 e EV Scooty

For these electric scooters, Honda 2W India may create Platform E, a brand-new platform. It is claimed that both fixed battery and swappable battery architectures are compatible with this platform. As a result, one of the two scooters will have a fixed battery system while the other will have a battery kit that can be swapped out. The permanent battery scooter is likely to go the PV way, while the swappable battery type is likely to go the CV route for commercial uses. In either case, Honda will make sure that the available performance and range are sufficient and competitive with what its competitors have to offer in the relevant markets.
