Hyundai Exter SUV: The Exter is Hyundai India's upcoming significant introduction for the Indian market. It is a small SUV that will replace the Venue in the lineup and compete fiercely with the Tata Punch. The Indian compact SUV market is expanding, and with the release of some new cars from Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai intends to compete directly with the Tata Punch by launching the Exter, a micro SUV. Customers must decide whether the Hyundai Exter or some vehicles from Maruti Suzuki and Tata offer better value for the money.
Dimensions and design
The Fronx is built on the Baleno's underpinnings, whilst the Hyundai Exter is based on the Grand i10 Nios' platform. The Fronx appears more like a Baleno that has gone to the gym than the Hyundai Exter, which has a more vertical appearance and a more SUV-like appearance. Hyundai has not specified the Exter's dimensions, but it will be smaller than 3,800 mm in length.
Equipped with a better engine
The Hyundai Exter will use the Grand i10 Nios' 1.2-liter gasoline engine, which generates 82 horsepower and 113 pound-feet of torque and is coupled to either a 5-speed manual transmission or an automatic manual gearbox. There is a CNG variant of the engine as well.
