Mahindra XUV300: W2 and TurboSport W4 SUV gets new entry-level variants with electric sunroof, six airbags and other exciting features; details

Mahindra XUV300: Mahindra has added a new entry-level W2 model to the XUV300 lineup, with prices starting at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The W4, a new base-spec model for the sportier XUV300 TurboSport, is now available and costs Rs 9.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, there are five different XUV300 variations to choose from: W2, W4, W6, W8, and W8 (optional), while the XUV300 TurboSport is available in four different forms: W4, W6, W8, and W8 (optional).

Know about the powertrain

A 1.5-liter, inline four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine and a 1.2-liter, inline three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine each provide 110 PS and 200 Nm of torque to power the XUV300. The XUV300 TurboSport, on the other hand, comes with a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that produces 131PS and 230Nm of torque (250Nm with a boost function).

Mahindra XUV300: W2 and W4 features

Four disc brakes, an electric sunroof, dual-zone climate control, connected car technology, smartwatch connectivity, a sizable touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, six airbags, ESP, hill hold assist, front and rear parking sensors, among other features, are among the features the SUV manufacturer gave the XUV300. Both a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic gearbox are available as gearbox choices.

Know about the W4 and its competitors

The W4 model onwards across petrol and diesel engine options now has an electronic single-pane sunroof, which is the most significant improvement for the XUV300 except the new variation. Mahindra appears to be drawing new customers by providing more affordable entry-level variants and making sunroofs available in the base variants. Notably, the brand's sub-four metre SUV competes with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Tata Nexon.
