MG Hector Shine 2023: Prices of this model with 2.0-litre diesel engine slashed, know all about the upgraded variant

MG Hector Shine 2023: MG Motors has reintroduced the Shine trim level of its Hector SUV in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 16.34 lakh (ex-showroom), the Hector Shine sits between the entry-level Hector Style and the mid-range Hector Sharp. The new version also lowers the prices of the petrol CVT and diesel manual transmission options, both of which were previously only available on the higher-end Sharp. The starting price of the Hector diesel has been reduced by Rs 1.08 lakh, while the starting price of the petrol CVT has been reduced by Rs 81,000.

MG Hector Shine 2023: Engine and powertrain

The Shine version is available with either a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 143bhp and 250Nm or a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168bhp and 350Nm. Both engines come standard with a six-speed manual gearbox, and the turbo petrol is also offered with a CVT.

New advanced features

The Hector Shine gets significant upgrades over the base style version. These include a reverse camera, cruise control, a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, curved fog lights, LED headlights and taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels and a sunroof.
