Sony HT-S400: At a cost of Rs. 21,990, the Sony HT-S400 soundbar speaker system has been introduced in India. The new Sony soundbar system, which has a 2.1-channel layout with a two-channel bar speaker and a separate wireless subwoofer, is among the most cost-effective in the category in India. The speaker system is marketed as an inexpensive way to boost your home theatre sound because it has a rated sound output of 330W, which is far louder than what the majority of televisions provide through their built-in speakers.

Variants and Price in India

The Sony HT-S400 soundbar has a “Best Buy” operating price of Rs. 21,990 in India and is offered by Sony Center stores, well-known electronics merchants, significant e-commerce portals, and Sony’s own ShopAtSC online store in a single Black colour option.

The Sony HT-S400 5.1-channel soundbar speaker system, which costs roughly Rs. 27,000, as well as competing models from JBL and Polk Audio, are all priced higher than this.

Specifications and features

The new soundbar from Sony is not particularly big and boasts a 2.1-channel setup with a separate wireless subwoofer. A bar speaker with two drivers totaling 200W and a 130W subwoofer make up the audio system. The 2.4kg bar speaker, which acts as a master device and manages connectivity with external devices, is the sole wireless device that the 7.3kg subwoofer supports. A different power outlet needs to be used for each component.
