Kawasaki Z650RS: More and more safety measures are being added to entry-level motorbike models as motorcycle technology develops. For example, traction control is anticipated for the Z650RS for the 2024 model year. Kawasaki's premium models have long included Kawasaki Traction Control, or KTRC, which is nothing new. This modification to the Z650RS is most likely being made to comply with motorcycle safety requirements.
The KTRC system described here for the Kawasaki Z650RS is probably not a complex IMU-powered arrangement but one based on wheel speed sensors. Along with the inclusion of traction control, the bike is anticipated to receive an updated instrument cluster, though one that keeps the traditional appearance.
