BMW: The BMW R nineT 100 Years and the BMW R 18 100 Years limited edition bikes were introduced by BMW Motorrad India in India to commemorate the company’s 100-year heritage. Both models have a 1923 production limit in honour of the brand’s historic year in 1923, when the R 32, the company’s first motorcycle, was unveiled.

The upgrades in aesthetics are the only differences from the ordinary edition. The boxer-twin air/oil-cooled engine that powers the standard bike is still used in this limited-edition model. This motor is tuned to produce a maximum of 108 horsepower at 7,250 revs per minute and a maximum of 116 Nm at 6,000 revs per minute. This motorcycle has a top speed limit of more than 200kmph. With a 221kg curb weight, it sports an 18-litre fuel tank.

Features

On this bike, features including full-LED lighting, a USB charger, an adaptive headlight, Riding Modes Pro, heated grips, and cruise control are available.

Design

Knee pads and a 100 Years badge complete the tank, which combines black with white and silver double-lining. The seat hump also has classic chrome, and the front wheel cover is painted black with a white double lining. The high-end appearance is completed by the seat bench in the two-tone mix of black and oxblood. Handlebar fittings, gearshift and foot brake levers, handlebar clamps, handlebar weights, mirrors, brake master cylinders, brake callipers, engine casing cover, cylinder head covers, and intake manifold trims are some of the parts that have a high-quality and long-lasting galvanic surface coating.

This powerful and amazing limited edition bike will cost Rs 24 lakhs in India.
