Bihar News: Good News for Bihar! New Bridge on Budhi Gandak, Distance Reduced by 25 Km from Begusarai to Darbhanga, Check

Bihar News: A bridge is in construction on Budhi Gandak in Samastipur district. After its completion, the distance between Begusarai and Darbhanga will be reduced by 25 kilometers.  It will save time and provide convenience to people. It will also help in reducing travelling expense and protecting environment as there will be less consumption of fuels.

Details of New Bridge on Budhi Gandak

•    New expressways and new bridges are being constructed at some places in Bihar. These constructions are being done to make people of Bihar happy.  As assembly elections in Bihar are near, people can expect such gift from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. This new bridge is being built on Budhi Gandak in Samastipur district. It will be able to reduce the distance between Begusarai and Darbhanga around 25 kilometers. 
•    As per reports, it was in earlier plan to construct 9 pillars for this bridge but now the plan is changed and 11 pillars will be constructed. Due to this change in plan, the length of the bridge changed. It was 336 meters as per earlier plan and now it will be 400 meters. 
•    The construction is being done near Rajghat in Jitwarpur Hakimabad village. The cost of construction of this bridge is around 47 crores. Earlier projected cost was 45 crores but it increased now.  

Benefits of New Bridge on Budhi Gandak

•    People travelling from Begusarai to Darbhanga can go directly to Muktapur via Jitwarpur-Ilmasnagar-Mannipur without the requirement of entering Samastipur city.  As distance between these two cities will be reduced by a 25 kms, people will save their time in travelling.
•    Now, it will be easier to go to the vegetable market for the farmers of Rosda, Dalsinghsarai, Ujiarpur
•    Problem of traffic jam will also be reduced as people will get the benefit of reduction in distance up to 25 km. Maximum benefit will be for them who travel from Begusarai to Darbhanga or vice versa.

New Bridge on Budhi Gandak is being built in Bihar as a gift from CM Nitish Kumar. It is going to reduce the distance between Darbhanga and Bewgusarai. It will benefit people of Bihar in saving travelling time and reduction in jam.
