Noida International Airport:  As per report, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is planning to develop amusement hub near Jewar Airport on 2500 acres. It will have top class recreational and cultural facilities like aviation museum, cultural center, golf course and Yamuna Haat. It will help to make Greater Noida as a modern and attractive tourist destination. People from nearby and other places will come to enjoy here.

Details of Amusement Hub near Jewar Airport

•    Now, Jewar Airport will not only be known for having residential and industrial development near it but also for having world-class entertainment and cultural facilities. For this, YEIDA has prepared its plan to develop a modern recreation hub in the recreational green zone spread over 2500 acres.
•    An aviation museum, cultural center, gymkhana club, golf course, resort, Yamuna Haat and a huge public park will be developed under this project.  
•    The aviation museum on the lines of Poland, a state-of-the-art cultural and performing arts center like the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon will be there in the project.
•    Yamuna Haat will be an open air market like Delhi Haat, which will have a platform for handicrafts, food and cultural activities. 
•    Different types of sports facilities will also be developed here for sports enthusiasts.
•    A botanical garden inspired by Bengaluru's Cubbon Park will also be developed.

What is Current Status of the Amusement Hub near Jewar Airport?

The detailed project report (DPR) for this project has been prepared, which is to be sent for approval in the upcoming board meeting. After the approval, land for project will be allotted to different private entities. The land allocation will have ticket based entry. The remaining projects will be developed under the PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model.
