Petrol And Diesel Price Update [15 October, 2023]: The prices of petrol and diesel remain stable in the country. Oil marketing companies in the country have released the latest rates of petrol and diesel. In India, fuel prices are revised every morning at 6 am.
Earlier, the prices of petrol and diesel were changed every fortnight, that is, there was a change in the price of petrol and diesel on the 1st and 16th of every month. However, from June 2017 onwards a new scheme was implemented under which petrol prices are being revised every morning at 6 am.
Fuel rate in metropolitan cities:
The price of petrol in New Delhi was Rs 96.72 and diesel 89.62, in Mumbai the price of petrol was Rs 106.31 and diesel 94.27, in Kolkata the price of petrol was Rs 106.03 and diesel 92.76 and in Chennai the price of petrol was Rs 102.74 and diesel Rs 94.33 per liter.
