Top 5 Stocks Of The Day: Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco Industries, and ONGC are among the top gainers on the Nifty, while Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel, and JSW Steel were among the losers. With the exception of the bank, all other sectoral indices saw gains at the conclusion of the day. The addition of 3 percent each to telecom, power, oil & gas, and auto was accompanied by 1-2 percent increases in capital goods, FMCG, IT, healthcare, and metal.

Sensex and NSE Nifty50

At the closing, the Nifty was up 149 points, or 0.68 percent, at 22,146.70, and the Sensex was up 335.39 points, or 0.46 percent, at 73,097.28. On March 14, the benchmark indices finished the day higher and partially recovered from the previous session's losses, with Nifty closing at 22,150 due to purchasing across all sectors. The market erased its early losses and continued to rise over the remainder of the trading session, as the Sensex closed comfortably above 73,000 and the Nifty crossed 22,200 intraday.
