HMA Agro Industries IPO sees 19 percent demand on debut
On June 20, the first day of bidding, HMA Agro Industries’ initial public offering (IPO) got off to a sluggish start. Only about 19 percent of the shares were subscribed to, with bids received for only 11.32 lakh of the 60.54 lakh offered.
Retail investors have purchased 17% of the allocated shares, and high net worth people have bid 47% of the allotted quota of 12.97 lakh shares.

In a very tumultuous session on June 20, benchmark indexes closed on a bullish note with Nifty surpassing 18,800. At the closing bell, the Sensex had risen 159.40 points, or 0.25 percent, to settle at 63,327.70, and the Nifty had risen 61.20 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 18,816.70. 1,885 shares changed hands for gains, 1,527 shares for losses, and 118 shares remained untouched.
