Covid Update: 3,688 New cases of corona have been reported

Corona cases are once again increasing in India. In the last 24 hours, 3,688 new cases of corona have been reported. With the arrival of 3,688 new cases of Covid-19 in the country in a day, the number of people infected with Coronavirus in the country so far increased to 4,30,75,864.

This information has been given by the Ministry of Health. The Union Health Ministry has said on Saturday that after the death of 50 more patients due to infection in the last 24 hours, the death toll has increased to 5,23,803. At the same time, the number of patients undergoing treatment for Covid-19 in the country has increased to 18,684, which is 0.04 percent of the total cases.

An increase of 883 has been registered in the number of patients undergoing treatment in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the national rate of recovery of patients is 98.74 percent. Significantly, on Thursday, after 46 days, more than three thousand daily cases were reported in the country. According to the data, in the last 24 hours, 2,755 people have been successful in defeating Corona, due to which a total of 4,25,33,377 people have become infection free so far. The death rate from Covid-19 is 1.22 percent.

In the last 24 hours, 22,58,059 doses have been administered to the people. At the same time, 1,88,89,90,935 doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign. To avoid Covid and to control the virus, rapid vaccination is being done in the country. Also, in view of the rising Covid case in many states, masks and necessary Covid measures have been re-implemented.

Significantly, on 7 August 2020, the number of infected people in the country had exceeded 20 lakh, on 23 August 2020, 30 lakh and on 5 September 2020, more than 40 lakh. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, these cases had exceeded one crore in the country.
