Corona cases are slowly increasing. In the last 24 hours, 3303 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported, after which the number of people infected with Coronavirus in the country so far has increased to 4,30,68,799. At the same time, the number of active patients has also increased and has increased to about 16,980, which is 0.04 percent of the total cases. At the same time, 39 more people have died due to infection and so far the death toll has gone up to 5,23,693. This information has been given by the Union Health Ministry.
According to the Ministry of Health, the national rate of those recovering from corona is 98.74 percent. The daily positivity rate is 0.66 percent and the weekly rate is 0.59 percent. In the last 24 hours, 2563 people have been cured of corona in the country, after which a total of 4,25,28,126 people have become infection free and the death rate from Covid-19 is 1.22 percent. At the same time, the vaccination campaign against Corona is being run rapidly. So far more than 188.40 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given.
The number of infected in the country had exceeded 20 lakh on 7 August 2020, 30 lakh on 23 August 2020 and 40 lakh on 5 September 2020. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, these cases had exceeded one crore. Last year, on May 4, the number of infected had crossed 20 million and on June 23, 2021, it crossed 30 million. On 26 January this year, the cases had crossed four crores.
The Ministry of Health says that more than 70 percent of the people who have died due to corona so far had other diseases as well. The ministry said on its website that its figures are being matched with the data of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
