ED Attaches Property Of Uddhav Thackeray Relative

In Maharashtra, the Enforcement Directorate has taken a big action on Tuesday. He has attached the property of a relative of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Under this, he has attached immovable assets worth Rs 6.45 crore of Pushpak Bullion included in the companies of Pushpak Group.

Under this attached property, 11 residential flats under the Nilambari project of Thane have also been seized. This project is associated with Shree Saibaba Grihanirmiti Private Limited. They are owned and controlled by Shridhar Madhav Patankar. This move of the ED has come to the fore after the recent series of raids by the Income Tax Department, in which Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray, Shiv Sena leader Anil Raids are involved against Parab.

Shiv Sena has been continuously calling it an abuse of central investigative agencies and an act of political vendetta.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena has reacted strongly to the seizure of property of a relative of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has termed it as an act of dictatorship and vengeance. Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had registered a money laundering case against Pushpak Bullion and its group companies on March 6, 2017 and temporarily attached Pushpak Bullion’s movable and immovable assets worth more than Rs 21 crore. The property belonged to Mahesh Patel, Chandrakant Patel and their families and companies owned by them. Subsequent investigation revealed that Mahesh Patel had embezzled and transferred funds of Pushpak Realty, a company of Pushpak Group, in connivance with Nandkishore Chaturvedi (accommodation facility provider). Pushpak Realty Developers gave assets worth more than Rs 20 crore to companies controlled by Nandkishore Chaturvedi in the guise of sale, fund transfer. It was circulated to them through other companies.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar has termed it as misuse of government investigative agencies. In his response, he said that the misuse of all means is an important topic of this country right now. If the figures you are telling are true, then to be clear, it is work being done for political purpose or any other purpose. To be honest, 15 years ago people sitting here would not have even heard the name of ED, but today people in every village have started knowing ED. Unfortunately, all this is being misused. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that the central government is taking action with a sense of political vendetta. Action is being taken by the agencies against those who do not bow down before them.
