Maruti Suzuki Upcoming EV Cars: India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch a range of electric vehicles in India in the coming year. Some of these offerings are expected to arrive in India soon, while some of the products will be gradually revealed in the coming years. The Japanese automaker’s Vision 3.0 roadmap promises the launch of a total of 8 electric vehicles in India by 2026. Three of these electric vehicles are expected to be pioneers of the carmaker’s Vision 3.0. To know more about the upcoming EV cars. check out the list below.
Maruti eVX SUV
Maruti Suzuki will be one of the pioneer brands to launch an electric vehicle in the sub-compact SUV segment as the upcoming eVX measures 4 metres in length. Talking about the dimensions, the vehicle measures 4300mm in length, 1800mm in width and 1600mm in height. The upcoming eVX will come equipped with 60 kWh lithium-ion which is claimed to provide 550 km of range in a solitary charge.
Maruti Suzuki Electric MPV
Maruti also has plans to introduce an all-new electric MPV in India. This MPV will be a new product in the automaker’s portfolio. This SUV will reportedly arrive in 2026 in India and will be available in December 2026 itself. This MPV will be based on the same platform as the eVX. The rest of the details about the MPV is not known yet.
Maruti Suzuki Electric Hatchback
As per reports, Maruti Suzuki will also launch a new electric hatchback which will be one of the most affordable EV cars available in India. This hatchback will be based on the K-EV platform. The design of this hatchback will remain largely similar to the eWX concept revealed at the Japan Mobility Show. After the launch, this hatchback will go against the Tata Tiago EV in India.
