Health Tips: Top five best yoga asanas that take care of mental health

Padmasana

Padmasana is considered to be one of the most useful yoga for the brain. It is a meditative posture which helps in keeping the mind calm. This asana gives the best benefits if done in the morning. It is not mandatory to practice this asana on an empty stomach. You can also do Padmasana a few hours after having food.

Ardha Matsyendrasana

This asana is also considered useful for the brain. Doing this asana on an empty stomach gives the maximum benefits. You can do this asana even after 4 to 5 hours of food. This yoga posture should be kept for 30 to 60 seconds.

Vajrasana

To increase the concentration and memory power of the brain, doing this asana gives amazing benefits. This asana not only keeps your mind calm and relaxed, but is also beneficial in strengthening your body

Halasana

This is a very effective yoga for the nerves of the brain. This asana helps in rejuvenating the body and mind. This asana should be done on an empty stomach in the morning. You can also practice this asana in the evening 4-6 hours before your last meal. During the practice If you stay in this posture for 30-60 seconds, it will be very beneficial.

Paschimottanasana

This asana mainly helps in relieving stress and keeps you away from negative emotions like anger and irritability. Paschimottasana is also known as a super brain yoga asana. It nourishes and energises the brain.
