Covid Vaccination: Another milestone of 150 crore mark reached by India

India achieved another record achievement in the direction of Covid Vaccination on Friday, 7 January. India has set a record of injecting 150 crore vaccine doses in less than a year.

Out of these, the last 50 crore vaccinations have been done in just 77 days that is in two and a half months. The program of Covid vaccination in the country was started from 16 January 2020 last year. India had achieved the target of giving 100 crore vaccine doses on 21 October. That is, it took India 278 days in nine months and five days to achieve the target of 100 crores. But the target of the remaining 50 crores was achieved in just 77 days.

India has got a big achievement in the vaccination campaign against Covid-19. On Friday, the total number of vaccines administered in the country has exceeded 150 crore.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that this historic achievement has been achieved due to the hard work of the health workers under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mandaviya said that when everyone makes efforts together then any goal can be achieved.

The figure of 100 crore doses of corona vaccine in the country was achieved on October 21, followed by celebrations in many parts of the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, more than 91 percent of the adult population received at least one dose. While more than 66 percent of the population has been fully vaccinated.

More than 22 per cent of eligible adolescents have received their first dose of vaccine since the introduction of immunization for eligible adolescents on January 3. The nationwide vaccination campaign began on January 16 last year with the first phase of vaccination of health workers Was.
